The Braeval Hotel is a lively, friendly family-run Highland inn overlooking the beach in the lovely seaside town of Nairn.  It benefits from tranquil, uninterrupted sea views and is close to Nairn town centre.  The Braeval has ten en suite bedrooms, some with sea view.
The hotel's Bandstand Bar won CAMRA HIGHLAND PUB OF THE YEAR 2014 (third time) and CAMRA District Pub of the Year 2015  (sixth time). The pub was voted one of the top three pubs in Scotland and Northern Ireland and was awarded CAMRA Scottish & Northern Irland Pub of the Year 2014 Finalist.  The Bandstand Bar is famed for its wonderful choice of real ales.  It has nine hand pumps and an ever-changing range of the best of Scottish and English real ales. Ales from nearby micro-breweries are regularly available. The Bandstand is Cask Marque accredited and in The Good Beer Guide 2015.

The Bandstand is home to the largest independant beer festival in the Scottish Highlands (see Beer Festival Page for details) The Bandstand is not just for ale lovers, it is a haven for whisky lovers too with over 116 Single Malt Whiskies on its impressive whisky list and regular whisky and nosing experiences. There is also a good selection of fine wines, spirits and cocktails.The Bandstand Restaurant is  very popular locally and with visitors.  The restaurant features large glass windows along it's entire length giving has spectacular sea views across Nairn beach and
the Moray Firth from every table. There are menus to suit all tastes from traditional Scottish dining to gastro pub style meals.

Friday Steak Suppers and Sunday Carvery Lunch are especially popular. We have vegetarian and gluten free dishes.

Please note, It is our policy not to allow young persons below 18 years of age to consume alcohol with a meal. We also adhere to the Challenge 25 Policy which means that any person who does not look 25 years of age will be asked to provide proof of age identification before the purchase or provision of alcoholic drinks.
